SMS Privacy Policy

This SMS Privacy Policy explains how Bennett Paving, Inc. (“Bennett Paving,” “we,” “us”) handles information for the Bennett Paving Text Updates program. It applies to customer quote and job communications and employee, driver, and contractor dispatch or work updates. Our general Website Privacy Policy describes other website information practices.
Information we collect
We collect the mobile number and name you provide, your relationship to a customer or work assignment, messages you send us, and information needed to respond to your request or coordinate work. We also maintain messaging consent and opt-out records, such as when and how you opted in or out, and technical delivery information provided by our messaging service.
How we use information
We use this information to send and respond to the updates you agreed to receive, including quote follow-ups, appointment and project updates, customer support, dispatch assignments, schedules, and work-related notifications. We also use it to manage consent, honor opt-outs, troubleshoot delivery, protect our systems, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. This program is for service and operational communications, not promotional marketing.
Mobile information and consent
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or other mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own purposes.
We disclose information only as needed to trusted service providers that operate our messaging and business systems on our behalf, including messaging platforms and carriers needed to deliver messages. They may use it only to provide those services, not for their own marketing. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights or safety. These disclosures do not authorize selling or sharing mobile information or SMS consent for marketing.
Your choices
Participation is voluntary. Providing a phone number alone does not enroll you in recurring texts. SMS consent is separate from other agreements and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Employees, drivers, and contractors who do not want texts may contact the office to arrange another communication method.
Reply STOP to any program text to opt out. You may receive one confirmation message; further program texts will stop unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details below. Message frequency varies with your requests, projects, and work assignments. Message and data rates may apply.
Retention and security
We retain messaging information only as reasonably needed to provide services, document consent and opt-outs, resolve issues, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it; no system can guarantee complete security. Please do not send Social Security numbers, payment card details, passwords, or other highly sensitive information by text. Contact us to request access to or correction or deletion of your information, subject to records we need to retain.
